Terms of Use
For personal use
Use the apps to learn; don't copy or resell their content.
Pay once
Paid features are a one-time unlock through Apple or Google.
Dutch law
Your consumer rights in your own country always remain.
About these terms
These terms apply to the apps published by DexGrid B.V., Beech Avenue 54-62, 1119 PW Schiphol, the Netherlands (KvK 95952748), currently Yomuki and Languava. By installing or using an app you agree to them. The terms of the App Store or Google Play you downloaded from also apply.
Your account
Some apps need an account to save and sync your progress. Keep your sign-in details secure and use an email address you can access. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control. You may not:
- copy, sell or redistribute the apps or their learning content, audio or illustrations;
- reverse-engineer the apps, except where the law allows it;
- misuse the service, for example by automated access or attempts to break its security.
The apps and their content remain the property of DexGrid B.V. or its licensors.
Purchases
An app may offer a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks all its content. Prices are shown in the store before you buy. Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Your purchase is linked to your store account and can be restored on new devices.
Because the unlock is digital content delivered immediately, you agree at purchase that delivery starts straight away; under EU law the 14-day right of withdrawal then no longer applies.
Learning content
We work hard to keep translations, readings and audio accurate, but the apps are learning aids and are provided without guarantee of completeness. Some audio is generated with AI voices.
Updates and availability
We may update, change or stop offering features or apps. If we discontinue an app you paid for, we will give reasonable notice where we can and keep it working on your device for as long as is reasonably possible.
Liability
To the extent Dutch law permits, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.
Ending use
You can stop using an app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Apple App Store
If you downloaded an app from the App Store, these terms are between you and DexGrid B.V., not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, is not responsible for claims relating to the app, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms.
Law, disputes and changes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless consumer law lets you go to the court where you live. If we change these terms, we update the date above and tell you in the app about significant changes.
